This is a really amazing necklace from hot designer Joseph Brooks!  We love the stone that is used in the necklace - it is a a heavy BLACK PYRITE.  The metalliac stone is both heavy and dense and also has flecks of what looks like gold (it is actually flecks of Gold PYRITE (commonly called "Fools Gold").  Check out the different sizes of the round beads, they vary between 1/4" to 3/5".   Each of the beads have been brilliantly cut to catch the light. The 40" long necklace looks amazing when worn long, or you can double it up for a variety of looks!
